Day 1 — Arrival in Lisbon

Welcome to Portugal! Your JE Escapes private driver greets you at Lisbon Airport and transfers you to your boutique hotel in Baixa/Chiado. After check-in, ease into the city with a guided evening stroll through Rossio Square, along Rua Augusta to the triumphal arch, and out onto the grand Praça do Comércio facing the Tagus. Cap the night with a romantic dinner in Chiado (optional).

Day 2 — Lisbon’s Historic Quarters & Belém

Begin with a guided walk through Alfama and Mouraria, where steep cobbled lanes open to sweeping miradouros and the sound of fado drifts from doorways. Continue by private car to Belém to explore Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, and the Monument of Discoveries, then taste still warm pastéis de nata from the original bakery.

As the sun lowers, consider a private Tagus River sunset cruise (optional).

Day 3 — Sintra Day Trip

Your private driver carries you into Sintra’s emerald hills for a day of palaces and gardens. Wander the terraces of the colorful Pena Palace, then descend into the mystical grounds of Quinta da Regaleira to discover the spiraling Initiation Well and hidden tunnels. Linger over a traditional lunch and Sintra pastries before returning to Lisbon for an evening at leisure (optional).

Day 4 — Lisbon → Cascais (Coastal Route)

Day 5 — Coastal Adventures in Cascais

Shape the day to your style.

• Active: Chase Atlantic swells with a surf lesson at Guincho or ride e-bikes along the coast through the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park.
• Leisure: prefer to unwind? Reserve a lounger at a beach club or set out on a private sailing experience timed for sunset.
• Culture: For a cultural thread, step into the Paula Rego Museum and browse the boutiques of Cascais’ old town before an evening gelato by the sea.

Day 6 — Évora Day Trip & Return to Lisbon

Head inland with your driver to UNESCO-listed Évora, where the Roman Temple stands above whitewashed lanes. Climb the cathedral rooftop for horizon-wide views, browse artisan shops, and enjoy a leisurely Alentejo lunch surrounded by cork oaks and vineyards. Return to Lisbon for a farewell evening set to the melodies of a fado dinner show.

Day 7 — Departure
