The journey, perfectly paced

Day 1 — Arrival in Winnipeg | Arctic Gateway

Arrive in Manitoba’s capital and check into your conveniently located hotel. Spend your afternoon exploring The Forks, a vibrant market and historic meeting place, or visit the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. In the evening, join your group for a welcome reception and expedition briefing, where your expert guide outlines the days ahead.

Optional: Arrange Arctic gear rental for parkas, boots, and insulated pants.

Day 2 — Northbound to Churchill | Tundra Town

Board your chartered flight to Churchill and watch as the city gives way to endless subarctic tundra. Upon arrival, explore Churchill’s highlights on a guided town tour: see the Polar Bear Holding Facility, Cape Merry, and the iconic Inukshuk monument. Visit the Polar Bears International House for an inside look at conservation efforts and end the day with the immersive exhibits at Parks Canada Centre.

Day 3 — Into the Wild | Tundra Buggy Safari

Step aboard your custom-built Tundra Buggy and venture deep into the Churchill Wildlife Management Area — prime polar bear territory. Keep your camera ready for sightings of polar bears, arctic foxes, snowy owls, and more. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch onboard, and return to town for an evening cultural talk from a local Churchill resident.

Day 4 — Arctic Traditions | Dogsledding & Inuit Heritage

This morning, meet a Métis musher and his team of sled dogs for an exhilarating ride through the boreal forest. Hear fascinating stories about life in the North and the historic role of dog teams. Later, visit the Itsanitaq Museum, home to one of the world’s finest collections of Inuit carvings and artifacts.

Day 5 — One Last Safari | Return to Winnipeg

Embark on your second Tundra Buggy adventure, giving you another opportunity to see and photograph polar bears in different light and conditions. In the afternoon, fly back to Winnipeg for your final night.

Day 6 — Farewell to the North

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departing for your flight home — taking with you incredible memories and perhaps a thousand polar bear photos.
