Your JE Escapes journey begins as you land in Cairo, where our VIP representative will personally escort you through immigration and customs. Enjoy a private transfer to your 5★ hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to the most extensive collection of ancient treasures, including the golden artifacts of Tutankhamun.
After breakfast, meet your private Egyptologist guide and begin your exploration of Egypt’s most iconic treasure — the Great Pyramids of Giza. Stand before the colossal structures built over 4,500 years ago, gaze at the enigmatic Sphinx, and explore the Valley Temple.
In the afternoon, visit Sakkara, the site of the Step Pyramid of Djoser.
Optional: Enjoy a gourmet lunch with panoramic views of the pyramids.
Early morning you’ll transfer from your hotel to Cairo International Airport for your morning flight Abu Simbel. Discover the awe-inspiring Great Temple of Ramses II and the Temple of Queen Nefertari, both relocated in a remarkable UNESCO-led project to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. After your visit, return to Aswan and escorted to your luxury Nile cruise ship.
Spend the evening on the sun deck, watching the golden light reflect off the Nile.
After Breakfast Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and relocated to Agilkia Island.
Sail north to Kom Ombo and visit the rare twin temple, dedicated to Sobek (the crocodile god) and Horus (the falcon god).
After breakfast, begin your exploration of the East Bank, visit the magnificent Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. The Temple of Karnak, one of Egypt’s greatest architectural achievements, was built by several Pharaohs, including Ramses II, Thutmose III, and Queen Hatshepsut, and dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun Ra, Mut, and Khonsu. Luxor Temple, devoted to the god Amun, reflects structures from many periods, with origins tracing back to the 12th Dynasty. Return to your cruise for afternoon tea and dinner as you settle into the tranquil rhythm of the Nile.
Disembark and cross to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings & Queens, where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks, decorated richly, and filled with treasures for the afterlife by generations of Pharaohs. Then visit the Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, who ruled Egypt for almost 20 years. She chose a very well-protected location, as it is surrounded by mountains.
In the evening, fly to Sharm El Sheikh and check into your 5★ all-inclusive beachfront resort.
Dive into the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea, world-renowned for its coral reefs and marine life. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the resort’s pools, spa, and beaches.
Enjoy a leisurely morning before heading into the Sinai Desert for an exhilarating safari adventure. Ride across golden dunes and end the evening with a Bedouin dinner under the stars.
After Breakfast, fly back to Cairo, and transfer to your hotel.
Enjoy the day at leisure or explore Cairo’s rich heritage.
