Depart from your hometown airport for your overnight flight to Israel. Rest and prepare your heart for a remarkable journey through the Holy Land — where faith, history, and culture come alive.
Arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport, where a representative will greet you at the jetway, assist with passport control, and escort you through customs. Transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv (official check-in 3 p.m.) and enjoy an evening at leisure along the Mediterranean coast.
After breakfast, meet your guide and begin your pilgrimage. Visit Caesarea Maritima, built by Herod the Great, where Paul was imprisoned before sailing to Rome. Explore the Roman Theatre, Herod’s Palace, and the coastal aqueduct. Continue to Nazareth, hometown of Jesus, to visit the Church of the Annunciation. Proceed north to your hotel in the Galilee region.
Visit Kibbutz Nof Ginosar to see the 2,000-year-old “Ancient Boat.” Sail across the Sea of Galilee in a wooden replica boat. Continue to Capernaum, where Jesus performed many miracles, and Tabgha, site of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes. Conclude at Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River, with an optional symbolic baptism.
Journey south through the Jordan Valley to Beit She’an, one of Israel’s best-preserved Roman cities. Continue to Jericho, the world’s oldest city, and enjoy lunch before ascending to Jerusalem. Pause for a blessing overlooking the Holy City before checking in.
Begin with panoramic views from the Haas Promenade and Mount of Olives. Visit the Chapel of the Ascension and the Garden of Gethsemane. Continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity, then return to Jerusalem for free time and shopping in the Old City bazaars.
Visit the Upper Room and David’s Tomb, then the Pool of Bethesda and St. Anne’s Church, famous for its acoustics. Walk the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, then explore the Cardo and Southern Wall Excavations, including the Teaching Steps and Western Wall.
Travel to Ein Kerem, birthplace of John the Baptist, and site of Mary’s visit to Elizabeth. Continue to the Garden Tomb, a peaceful place of worship symbolizing the Resurrection. Enjoy free time for shopping or reflection.
Descend into the Judean Desert to visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Continue to Masada, Herod’s fortress, ascending by cable car to explore its palaces and battlements. Later, float in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea before returning to Jerusalem.
Breakfast and check-out (by 12 p.m.). Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your return flight home — carrying cherished memories of walking in the footsteps of the Bible.
